At Whippersnappers, we don’t require anything to be set up – no backdrops, no glaring lights that would scare the children, and minimal posing – we use the child's interests and surrounding play equipment to capture images of each child in their natural daycare environment.

But not the ‘typical’ school portraits…

Our Whippersnapper photographers love children, they will take time to interact with the children in their own environment: reading, singing, playing with the child – whatever it takes. As we all know, small children can be fickle with strangers and our team will go the extra mile to form a bond with a child, utilising their favourite activities and carers when needed.

We’ve found this to be the best approach to taking children's photos with minimal disruption to their day!

Let’s make school photos something families actually look forward to!

How it works

It’s very simple.

STEP 1: Your school picks dates for your photo day(s) and we will request you to upload a file of the children's & teachers names and classes via our secure, data encrypted gateway. We will then provide you with everything you need to register your school and information to send to your families.

STEP 2: Parents log in and register & consent for their child to have photos taken on the photo day(s)

STEP 3: We will provide a schedule for you for the order photos will be taken on the photo days. Only children who have registered/consented will have their photos taken on the day(s)

STEP 4: Photoshoot day(s). We will move from class to class, identify the children and then photograph the children in their designated play/classroom area. If traditional group photos are being taken, they will also be taken during the allotted time for the class.

STEP 5: The Whippersnappers team will carefully choose and edit the photos and parenst will be alerted when their child's gallery is ready for viewing

STEP 6: Parents can select the images that they would like to order and place their order online. There is 10 day ordering window for parents to take advantage of the discounted packages AND to receive free delivery to the school. After 10 days, packages revert to normal pricing and there will be a charge to deliver to the school or their home address

STEP 7: Whippersnappers will print and package the orders and return them to the school within 21 days of the 10 day ordering window closing
