About Whippersnappers
Whippersnappers founder and Principal Photographer is award winning Photographer Michelle Sparkes. Michelle was an accredited member of the now disbanded AIPP (Australian Institute of Professional Photography) and former President of the Rockingham Photography Club. Michelle is a mum to two boys – keeping her life very busy and challenging, but if it weren’t for them her love and talent for children’s photography would not exist.
Michelle has been running her very successful portrait photography business – Michelle Sparkes Photography – for 13 years. Michelle’s fantastic affinity with children guided her into the world of Daycare Photography and in 2015 Michelle recognised a need in Western Australia for the unique service she had to offer to Daycare Centres and from that Whippersnappers was born.
Our mission at Whippersnappers is to provide families with natural photos of children in their Daycare settings in a no fuss, no stress environment for both the children and the staff.
Our photographers are very patient and connect with the children on a level that other photographers do not. You will find our photographers – camera in hand - singing, reading, pushing swings, placing things on their heads and playing the very popular “peek-a-boo” all with the aim to relax the children and gain their trust to get that perfect shot. We are continually receiving comments about the connection that the children make with our Photographers, resulting in beautiful natural images.
Trust in Whippersnappers for your next photo day, you won’t regret it!
